Dr. Stefanie Tweedly, Psy.D., L.P.
Founder of Better Being Psychological Services
Licensed Clinical Psychologist PSY27679
I founded Better Being in 2018 with a very specific goal in mind: provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that inspires clinicians to offer exceptional services that fosters healing and better being in patients. This is the energy I bring to my practice, colleagues, supervisees, and each and every patient I meet with.
I strive to help individuals move toward better being; to grow, become healthier, and integrate all aspect of their self and their experience. To this end, I assist individuals in improving their emotional well-being through warm, genuine, non-judgmental exploration of their experiences. In this exploration, I work with the individual in a collaborative process to guide them to heal their core wounds and struggles. This process not only helps improve current symptoms and distress, but also provides the individual with skills that help them navigate future challenges.

In addition to using more traditional therapeutic interventions, I also incorporate a holistic approach; generally in considering all aspects of the individual, including mind, body, and spirit, and specifically in using interventions such as mindfulness, meditation, body awareness and regulation work, and yoga.
