I’m glad you’re here and welcome!

I know that reaching out for support can be one of the hardest, yet most courageous steps you can take. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, facing emotional challenges, or simply seeking greater clarity and peace, I want to commend you for taking this important step toward shaping your desired future and quality of life that you hope for.

I believe therapy is a method of self-investment, which allows you to pour back into yourself as life has its draining moments. As a clinician, I believe true healing happens within the context of a trusting therapeutic relationship – one built on authenticity, humility, curiosity, and at times, a shared sense of humor. I have a strong passion for helping individuals discover what a healthy, fulfilling, and meaningful life looks like for them as it’s incredibly important to me that everyone’s diverse demographic background – identity, culture, intersectionality, experiences, and perspectives – are not only acknowledged, but deeply valued.

In our work together, with me as your guide, I will support you in honoring your role as the expert of your own mind, body, and spiritual well-being. I aim to create a welcoming and inclusive space where you can feel safe exploring your story and be empowered to write your next chapter(s) how you see fit.
No matter where you are in your journey for understanding, you don’t have to walk it alone – I’m honored to walk alongside with you.
Education & Experience
I received my Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska where I majored in Psychology and participated on the Men’s basketball team. I also earned my Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Health from the APA-accredited California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in Los Angeles. I completed my doctoral internship at Northern Arizona University’s APA-accredited Counseling Services department, where I received generalist training in providing integrated care for adults of all ages including student-athletes before working for Better Being Psychological Services, Inc.
Additionally, my training consists of providing high quality care, assessments, and services to individuals from diverse backgrounds across various settings such as elementary schools, Community Mental Health (CMH), psychiatric hospitals, private practices, and university counseling centers.
Technical description of my approach
I have an integrative and client-centered approach to therapy, incorporating a collaboration of Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to fully understand the unique concerns, personal strengths, and needs of each individual. My work is also grounded in utilizing Humanistic modalities, holistic methods, mindfulness-based practices, self-compassion techniques, the five pillars of well-being, and aspects of psychodynamic principles, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
